MKCL DEEP Center Registration Process- Minimum IT Infrastructure

  • Minimum Lab setup : 1 Server + 5 Clients
  • Ncomputing /Xtenda / Thin Client Setup is not allowed
Minimum Server Configuration
  • Intel I5 Processor 10th Gen or Ryzen 5 With 12 GB RAM
  • 500 GB SSD Hard disk
  • Integrated Graphics
  • Min 1000 Mbps Ethernet Card
  • 3 USB ports
  • Windows 10 / 11 with (64-bit)
  • Antivirus
  • Quantity required per centre (minimum): 1 Desktop/Laptop
  • 10 Mbps Internet connection
The above-mentioned server can support upto 20 clients. If number of clients are more, then server CPU and RAM should be increased proportionately
Minimum Client Configuration
  • Intel I5 Processor 10th Gen or Ryzen 5 With 8GB RAM
  • 320 GB SSD Hard disk
  • Ethernet Port (10/100/1000 Mbps) Sound Card
  • 3 USB ports
  • Keyboard and Mouse (Recommended Brand: Logitech, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Headphone with Mic (Recommended Brand: Phillips, Intex, I-Ball, etc.) for every client machine
  • Integrated Web cam in case of laptop or One Web Camera (Recommended Brand: Logitech, Intex, etc.) for every client machine
  • Windows 10 / 11 with (64-bit)
  • Antivirus
  • Quantity required per center (minimum): 5 Desktop/Laptops. Laptops are preferable because:
    • Consume less power
    • Require less space
    • Easy to maintain
    • Minimum 3-4 hours power backup available in case of power failure
    • Inbuilt Webcamera
    • Easy to move
    • WiFi connectivity

Peripherals

  • Multifunction Printer (All in one, Print / Scan / Copy) or
    • Printer - minimum 600 dpi resolution (Recommended Brand: HP, Canon, Epson etc.) (minimum 1)

LAN

LAN 10/100/1000 Mbps Network Switch (Server and all Laptops should be connected to this Network Switch) (Recommended Brand: D-Link, Linksys etc.) or Wifi Access Point – 300 Mbps, 802.11n Electrical and LAN wiring should run perpendicular to each other. If they are parallel to each other, then a distance of 2 feet should be maintained between them to avoid interference.

Internet

Minimum 10 Mbps Broadband Connection (wired / wireless) (Server and all Laptops should be able to connect to the Internet by using Internet Connection Sharing or Proxy Server)

Licence Policy:

MKCL provides licenses for Windows and MS Office*. For courses that require software to run, ALCs must arrange the required software on their own.
